Speak about LLOE

Hello, first post on the blog, I will speak about my current project. After the abortion of EXIL ( http://www.moddb.com/games/exil ), it was time for me to go on a new subject, a new project, especially a new idea. With what happened for EXIL, the idea of work with a group is not good for me, I would not spit on my companions and I am also guilty for not having been able to properly manage the project. In short, I now prefer to work alone, it is the best means to satisfy my expectations.

LLOE
Actualy, LLOE (not LOL, I’m not joking, never.) does nothing and serves only to describe my project. I was very surprised and fascinated by the game “The Void” (not to be confused with “Dark Void”) that offers a rich and intriguing and is very different than either wealth or gameplay compared to other. Thurs This adventure game really made me want to use the path of questioning, and not simply proposing a set contemplative and entertaining, but also a game that offers and requires reflection. And I do not speak about enigmas, but rather of philosophical questioning, as metaphysics questions.
The theme I have chosen is the death, death of main character in this case. And this is an opportunity to lead a dreamlike world, crazy, and outside the rules.

The Story
You are as a ghost without substance, but also a soul. You have no consistency, no appearance, you’ve forgotten who you are. Death, you lose your life, but keep your conscience. In the kingdom, the mower offers a challenge: find the parts of your memory, and if you can find out how you’re dead, perhaps the dead will return to where you came…
Your play with the time, you must learn who you are: your time is counted, a second time!

Yeah I admit, it makes a little speech and attractive does not explain much. But I am afraid to say too much about the story knowing when I’m still writing it.

Gameplay
In a first person view, we grow and solve some puzzles. No weapons, the game will be based on the exploration, understanding, thinking and … dialogues! I hope to implement a little system like in the RPG game, as managing an inventory. Imagine a Point’n'Click (but with no mouse, you move your player as in a FPS) games in the kingdom of death! :)
Finally, no major changes otherwise, I hope not to have too much programming to do, because my experience with EXIL soon turned into hair pulling. The fault almost non-existent documentation on the Unreal script (programming language for the Unreal Engine 3).

Other
Nothing particular, the introductory scene is already underway, as shown in the main image of the blog post. The project will be on the UDK. I am currently working on some things, and I have a character in progress. Here is also another models, more or less finished (the lamp need to be review, and the texture of the office is not finished):
